Chris Brown is putting a smile on children’s faces this Christmas. The “Loyal” singer hosted his first annual holiday toy drive at Brooklyn Projects in Los Angeles on Sunday.

A blonde Breezy collected piles of toys and posed for photos with his fans, who lined up around the block bearing unwrapped gifts, which were donated to underprivileged kids. He also went skating with The Money Team and four-year-old skater Lil Romeo.

“Thank you to all the fans who brought gifts for the kids today. Have a wonderful holiday. You’ve made a merry Christmas for a young child!” Chris told Team Breezy.

Kevin Hart and Tyga also came out to lend their support. “Supportin my brotha Toy Drive with @kevinhart4real ‘Always good to give back’,” tweeted Tyga.

Two versions of Chris’ new single “Loyal” are now on iTunes, the East Coast version featuring Lil Wayne and French Montana, and the West Coast edit with Weezy and Too $hort.

Rap-Up TV: R. Kelly Praises Chris Brown, Considers Jay Z Reunion

R. Kelly returns to the charts with his 15th top 10 album Black Panties, which debuted at No. 4 this week. In the final part of his interview with Rap-Up TV, the R&B veteran speaks out about some of his famous collaborators and peers including fellow Chicago native Kanye West.

“A lot of people didn’t believe in Kanye, a lot of people didn’t believe in me. He’s a genius in his own right and he’s on top now,” said Kellz, who worked with Yeezus on Cruel Summer‘s “To the World.” “That’s why I know if we got together again on one of these days in that studio, some magic is gonna happen again.”

While he and Jay Z had a fallout after their Best of Both Worlds albums, he is not ruling out another collaboration. “In this business, man, you just never know,” he said. “It happened once, it happened again. You just never know.”

One thing that is certain are more “Trapped in the Closet” episodes. “I got 50-something chapters in the studio just waiting to be shot and then there’s more to come. It’s just one of those forever things, man.”

A “Trapped in the Closet” movie is already being written along with a Broadway show and a book.

When it comes to today’s stars, Kellz has a lot of respect for Chris Brown. “I don’t look at Chris Brown as an R&B guy. He’s a superstar, hands down. It doesn’t matter. He’s music. I don’t put him in a category ’cause he’s got that Michael Jackson thing on him.”

So what does he find himself listening to when he’s riding in the car? “I will listen to Jay Z, I listen to Trey Songz, I listen to Dream, I listen to Ciara, Rihanna, Destiny’s Child, and some Beyoncé stuff.”

Chris Brown’s Probation Revoked Over D.C. Arrest

A judge has revoked Chris Brown’s probation following assault charges filed in Washington, D.C., earlier this year.

The R&B superstar appeared in a Los Angeles courtroom on Monday for a progress hearing. L.A. Superior Court Judge James R. Brandlin felt the criminal complaint in D.C. was enough to revoke his probation since Chris did not obey all laws.

He ordered Brown to return to court on February 10 for another update. As part of his sentence, he is still required to complete 1,000 hours of community labor for his assault on Rihanna in 2009.

Probation officials reported that Brown is doing well in anger management rehab. The judge was impressed by his progress and ordered him to continue treatment.

According to the progress report (via TMZ), Brown participates in a weekly boot camp and completed a 12-hour ropes course “to enhance team-building skills and trust.”

The clinical team says that he no longer takes medical marijuana and has been prescribed new psychotropic drugs that seem to be working. His ability to “emotionally regulate himself” has significantly improved.

The “Fine China” singer was arrested in October after he was accused of hitting a man, who claimed he was trying to get a photo with the star.

With Sevyn Streeter out the gate, Chris Brown introduces CBE’s next act, U.G.L.Y. (Under Greatness Lies You). The electro-bass trio, made up of Mijo, Braxton Olita, and female singer Stormi Henley, steps into the spotlight with their genre-bending debut EP DMT.

The six tracks, produced and written by the trio themselves, combine elements of R&B, reggae, punk, and electronic music. They nod to ’90s alternative on “Light One Up” and mix R&B with gritty bass on “FairyTale.”

“Think of it as a festival experience. You’re going to hear the best of each genre in one place,” says Braxton, while Mijo adds, “We wanted to start a movement or culture for creativity and positivity. The idea is that you can do anything you want. Be as epic and as fly as you want to be.”
